gallery order

I don't understand why you can't set your gallery order to display the newest gallery first. Instead, the default is oldest gallery first. I know I can manually change the display order. But this is a drag & I wish there was some way to set the display order automatically.

Ilan: I did go to the sequencing feature & selected "add new subgalleries to the beginning of the gallery." I thought that'd do the trick. But it did not. I just added a subgallery to my root gallery & the new gallery again was placed last, when I wanted it placed first. Am I still doing something wrong?

I am guessing here
1. setting up this default has to be repeated for each gallery, it is not a site wide option
2. you have to submit the change
3. go back into the edit gallery, sequancing and see what is marked, maybe it was not picked up by the system.

Each new gallery I create is set properly to sequence new galleries at the beginning of the root gallery, but it still never works.

Of course I submit the change.

I've checked the root gallery & all new galleries & they all have the sequencing set to display new galleries at the beginning, yet they're not doing that.
