Easier way to distinguish gallery from photo thumbnails

You mean the "Gallery: title" , [title] , <title> and /or <<title>> options aren't enough?

Actually, no...I still don't see why and what is so difficult about the mutli-image icons for a gallery.

A partial solution would be to create your own thumbnail to represent your gallery - put a border around it, combine multiple images, whatever you want. Make this your representative image, then make it private so it doesn't actually appear when viewing the gallery. You only need to upload a small thumbnail so it hardly takes up any extra space.

That's what I did for my "Parallel Worlds" gallery, because I specifically wanted to represent the gallery with a combination of two images.

While this would work, it sure would be a pain in the butt to do this for all of your galleries...it sure makes sense to just automate this feature...come on pbase team, what's the scoop?
