Posting images

If I am correct the only images that should be posted here are ones that call pbase home.

If this is true when the opening IMG tag is clicked could it be formatted so it would look like the following:

[img]http://www.pbase/image/

This it seems is the same on all image posts and would save a lot of time for us poor typers. We would need to only add the image number/medium.jpg and close the tag.

Or
Complete the whole tag by one click then insert the image number.

The forum is powered by a third party software called phpBB. Even though the software as such is open source, I guess the pbase team will not be having any intention of getting their hands messy with the codes since they have more than enough codes to play with in their own backyard.

Maybe I misunderstood the question but it is much easier to copy the full address from IE address bar and paste it into the correct place in the code for me to try and reproduce 7 digits with no error is a mission impossible
