Pbase slowness

The slowness on Pbase for the last month has been painful. Sometimes it takes forever to upload, sometimes trying to make a comment on an image takes even longer and sometimes just trying access an image from a link I give up in frustration. I know some people in my groups are looking into other galleries, some of them even free. I suggest someone look into this before you start loosing paying customers.

This has been discussed to death at http://form.pbase.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=37541 and there are fixes on the way I gather.
