PBase

Is there no means to extend the usefulness of PBase into other applications? Officially or otherwise? It seems any serious effort to engage the developer community to extend the usefulness of PBase, e.g., by integration into other applications, is being stymied. Screen scraping can only go so far. To stay competitive, I'd suggest, as a high priority, PBase should publish a public API as soon as possible. I'd love to see PBase opened to allow some creative talent to make use of these beautiful photos in a Web 2.0 world.
