Option to always keep sub galleries at the beginning

I have some galleries that include both sub galleries and photos - My Copenhagen gallery http://www.pbase.com/flemmingbo/copenhagen is an example.

In sequencing I have set new images to be uploaded the beginning of the gallery. This works fine, but I always want the sub galleries to be listed before any photos. So after uploading I always have to go in and edit this gallery and move the new images to after the subgalleries.

Can we have an option to 'upload new images to the beginning of galleries but after sub galleries' in sequencing - or a way to set the sequencing number for the sub galleries to 1, 2, 3 etc. and mark them as 'do not reorder the sequencing number of these subgalleries'
