Add Film Database

Post Sat Feb 21, 2004 3:05 am

We have now databases for cameras, lenses and locations.

Personally I miss a film database. Film might really affect the images
in terms of color balance, granularity etc. etc. I would be interested
in comparing how others deal with the same fillm marerial.

Thanks,

Thomas

Fantastic! Thanks a lot.

Agfa Slide is easy to add (current material):

CT-100 , CT-200 (Agfa Precisa), and:
RSX II 100 , RSX II 200. That's it!

Disappointed with support...

Post Sat May 29, 2004 7:06 pm

I am disappointed that the film database is not updated... There are only so many films
and there will be probably no more new in the future! I even send in April to support a
web page maintained by Bill Tuthill with a nice list (probably) of all common films:

http://creekin.net/films.htm

Why not to add these films?

Related to the list of films and cameras I have send several bug reports almost 2 months ago,
of which none have been replied to or fixed. Maybe someone will spot them here?

1) List of films contains a "Burke and James 4x5 Press Camera," and so it does still contains it.

2) In the gallery edit page list of cameras and list of lenses does not appear, except for
the list of "yours". If your entry is not yet in "yours", you must abort everything, go edit
an image, in which case all three lists appear in full. After you add a lens or a camera,
you can go back to the gallery edit and use it for a batch operation.

I understand that some things are more important that the other, but I would appreciate
the fix and support for all films. Our photo archives of past decades are likely to be on film!

Please be so nice to fix these problems.
