Help !! I

am trying to create a private gallery and several galleries under them. I have removed the "allow everyone to see this gallery" option at the top level, but left it checked for the subgalleries. Now I can email the URL to the people I want to show the photos and when they get the URL they can click on any of the subgalleries to see the photos. Nothing shows up in root gallery which works as expected. But anyone can click on the recent and get a list of all the subgalleries (they are not marked private !!) How do I stop this from happening?

There's not a way. Either the gallery is private or its not. If you want to keep them private you will need to make all galleries private and give out the url for each one. You could also add the link in the main gallery header.
