PBase

First of all, let me say that I haven't been using Pbase all that long and I don't know who Slug is. I'm sure he's wonderful and I really like the site and just upgraded my account before the outage. I have no plans to go anywhere else and I do understand how a site with this much usage can crash.

Which brings me to my question. What is going to happen when Pbase comes back up and everyone logs on at once and starts uploading their accumulated photos from the past few days? Any chance that will cause it to crash again?

Good question Karen....maybe that's why it's take so long....they're beefing up the infrastructure....

They are planning to bring in a brand new machine and ofcourse we can do our part by being a bit patient with our uploads

Monday is mostly gone now. Do you think he Oracle boys are actually gonna recover the last weeks worth of data?? We talking today? tomorrow? Next week?
