Guestbook vs. Forum?

I'm sure there's a very simple answer, but I'm confused about the difference between my guestbook and my forum. Thanks!

Your forum shows comments on individual images and galleries and the guestbook. The guestbook is just the guestbook. If you don't have any comments on the galleries or images then they look the same.
