Old forum/New forum

I've noticed an annoying phenomenon regarding the Old forum. I have the old Forum url listed in Favorites. So I went to it & posted yesterday (I stupidly forgot that there's a New forum). The Old forum allowed me to post to it.

I would encourage Pbase staff to remove the Post New Topic option from the Old forum. No one will read it there.

Well you made a mistake.. just copy and paste it into the new forum.

Slug probably has the old forum for archive usage.. if there is a question someone needs help with people can easily find the answer either in hte old forum or the new one.

richards1052 wasn't asking slug to remove the old forum completely. He was just asking that the posting to the old forum be prevented so that we don't have to monitor two forums.

well when you click on forum you only see the new one. Like i said the OLD FORUM could be there for archive use and to find questions that people had and were answered. Its more of an accesibility thing for people using pbase.com

I say they should stay where they are. Doesn't bother me.
