Some comments not visible in view forum.

Some comments that have been left in my galleries are counted when you look at the number beside 'your forum'. But when you view the forum they are missing. You can go read them in the specific gallery but they do not show on view forum screen. I clicked archived topics and expand threads and I still can't find them. It seems to show only comments from galleries and images after Aug 4th but still shows all of the guestbook messages. What gives?? Can someone help me out please? Thanks in advance.
