External links to images not working

Putting direct links to our images on other websites such as forums is not working at the moment. We are getting red x's instead. This is for paying members. I have been doing this for a month and have not had this problem before and the pages where the images have always worked are not working now. I can see the images fine at pbase.com , but not from the other sites. This happened sometime tonight, in the past hours. This is happening for more than one pbase member. I can't imagine that the problem is only this forum and not pbase because the images hosted at other sites are working fine. I have encountered pbase outages 2 other times over the past month but at those times the site itself was not working, this time the site works fine, but the external links doesn't.

Can you post an couple of example URLs of the images you are referring to? All my external links seem to work fine.

srijith, how about you first post your urls where the external linking seems to work fine? And let me clarify I mean that if the image is supposed to be shown on another webpage, the image is a red x, but if it is a hyperlink to either an image or gallery at pbase, clicking on the hyperlink will take you to a page that works, but the image itself just won't display directly on the other webpage.

http://www.srijith.net The image you see on the right hand side is linked directly from pbase.

I am not sure what you are doing wrong (maybe I will if you give me an example), but if I put the following HTML in a file on my desktop and view the HTML, I can see your image.

Ok, here is my example page:

The images are in the first message in the thread by 'watcher', supposed to be about 9 images set to 'medium' size with links to original size.
And yes, the pbase images show up on your website just fine.

Is it the 9 images of a girl in black dress doing some martial arts stunt? I can see it fine
No red Xs. Looks like the problem is at your browser side.

srijith, thank you very much for your help. You can see the images at the page I mentioned but I cannot, so yes maybe the problem is my browser. It is very strange, but I'll check with some people tomorrow to see if they have similar browser trouble. Thanks again.
