RED ECKS! What am I doing wrong?

It's great to finally have a web host, but I'm having a problem getting my pics to post on other web forums. They DO allow such linking, but for some reason, instead of the pic, I get the dreaded "red-x".
Sometimes, it does werk. but usually, it does not.
What can I do to fix this?

You need to add .jpg after the URL.

For example, if you want to show the image "bambi1.jpg" in your album elsewhere, you would use:

http://www.pbase.com/image/18777337/small.jpg for small image
http://www.pbase.com/image/18777337/medium.jpg for medium image
and
http://www.pbase.com/image/18777337/original.jpg for original image.
