probably a silly newbie question...

but since i'm a silly newbie, i'll go right ahead and ask. :)

i've uploaded my images and thought i had set them to all display at medium size by default...i did this by clicking "medium" for every image on the "edit this gallery" screen.

when i viewed the gallery, the images all displayed at medium size. perfect!

but...when i visited the gallery from another pc, the images were displaying at their really huge original size.

so...what did i do wrong? how do i set the medium size as the default display for the images in my gallery for each visitor (understanding, of course, that they can then choose an alternate size).

thanks so much -- i'm looking forward to settling in here at pbase! :)

Selecting a default size

You cannot set a default size for other users who look at your photos. When you select a default viewing size, that will remain the default for you on that computer until you select a different size. Once you go to a different computer, you will need to select it again as the default on that computer. This is helpful if maybe you have a fast link at work and want to view larger sizes there, but you have a slower link at home and want to view smaller sizes so pages will load more quickly.
