new feature: Email Address Verification and Public Email

We cleaned up the account page and added some new features.

Now, you can enter a public email address to display on your profile page. This email can be in any format you like. We also added another option for specifying who can view your public email address - must be a PBase subscriber to view the public email.

Your account email address is now always private. It can still be used to login to your account. Any password reminders and notification emails will be sent to this email address.

You can now verify your account email address by clicking the 'verify my email address' link on your profile or account page. We are planning to add features that will allow you to request certain notifications, such as new comment notifications. It will be necessary to verify your account email address in order to receive these notifications.

Hi Emily,
thanks - that is useful. While you are making these small changes, would it also be possible to allow us to apply our style sheets to the profile and recent pages ? I think this request has been around for a while and really goes far in standardizing our page looks - that is ofcourse, if you agree its a useful feature and simple to add in
