PS my problem is not on all galleries, there does not seem to be a pattern, but it is on quite a few.

Hi Emily

I am again having trouble uploading new , replacement images into one of my galleries - different issue this time.
This time it is this gallery https://pbase.com/mccartney/ballarat.
After uploading the replacement and then clicking the view link, I get this

"You do not have permission to edit this image.

View this image"

If I then click on "view this Image", I get someone else's picture https://pbase.com/image/168825910
Members name is Ian Morehouse
My image was at https://pbase.com/mccartney/image/165958041

Also I now have someone elses image displaying in my gallery (the first one with the trees - I assume this may also be an Ian Morehouse pic)

I tried another upload in the same gallery and received the "You do not have permission to edit this image. - View this Image" message again
This time when i clicked view this image, it displayed an image of one of your children in a pirate costume.
The gallery was Emily Neel | profile | all galleries >> The Offspring >> Winter 2016-2017 https://pbase.com/image/166279281
I then refreshed my page and now find my image of an old piece of machinery on your (Emily Neel's ) page where your pirate costume pic used to be.

I think I should and will stop making changes for now - please advise.

Thanks

Hi

I was attempting to tidy my Richmond Park https://pbase.com/ken_buckle/richmond_park sub galleries and images.

I created a new sub gallery https://pbase.com/ken_buckle/richmond_park_fauna and tried to move most of the images from https://pbase.com/ken_buckle/richmond_park_4 to it. That generated an error…
You do not have permission to move images to that gallery.

If it helps, as a test, I was able to move an image from Gallery 4 to the main Richmond Park Gallery and then move it to the new sub gallery.

Please can you check that out and advise.

Thanks

Ken

"You do not have permission to move images to that gallery."

I can't seem to move pictures to different galleries or copy them to different galleries anymore. Is this a temporary thing due to the new upgrade?

New servers, etc. seemed to have changed functionality.
When I delete an older photo it just bounces back to the edit screen. The photo is still there. Before upgrades it went to 'deleted image' (in upper left) and 'Back to Gallery' screen. And clicking back to the gallery; yes, the photo was deleted. No longer the case. Or just recently, someone else's photo took its place - in my gallery; my caption but their photo and data.

Also, I can no longer delete galleries.."you do not have permission' or the delete gallery button is no longer in edit gallery.

-Cheers

I was able to create sub-galleries for a while last night, thought the problem was fixed, now the problem is back on all galleries -- the option is missing on the edit page, and the top (blue) portion of the edit page is over-sized.

Sat. Feb 16th I posted a photo to my Pad gallery and this morning I noticed a photo from somewhere else had replaced my photo! Also, I have an "inbox", a private gallery that I use to load and write my blog before transferring to my Pad, Yesterday and today there are no galleries listed in the drop down box! What ever you fixed... please repair it!

I just replaced a photo with a new one. The new one showed up properly at the replacement site. Five minutes later the photo replacement is no longer in my gallery where it was placed. It is completely gone from my gallery. What has happened?

At the top of my gallery edit windows it says in a reddish banner "The drag and drop capabilities of this page are not supported on the browser you are using. Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Opera, and Internet Explorer (versions 8 and greater) are all supported. " I am using Windows !0 and its default Edge Browser. Internet Explorer 8 is for the old versions of Windows. I am a big fan of the drag & drop editing feature and I'm not going back to the 4-5 year old Internet Explorer 8. What gives here?

Also my site looks total awful on chrome and Firefox. Galleries & Images are arranged vertical. Not arranged as it is in the windows edge & I.E. 8 browsers, which is correctly oriented.

Any advise or help?

Well today I got other peoples pictures uploaded to my PAD. Lots of pictures of nude women and I can't delete them.
As much as I welcome upgrades to this site servers, this sort of system error is unacceptable when I use this site for sharing pictures with family and friends.
