I found that with photos 1024 pixels wide, say, that there has to be a fairly large margin between the photo edges and the edge of the browser, for the arrow-keys to change the picture to the next or previous one...

Suddenly today the keyboard shortcuts have stopped working. It worked 2 weeks ago on the same computer. I am on IE8.

In the meantime I was in LA with my netbook with Chrome on it and Win7 and suddenly the shortcuts worked. You always have to have rather large margins around the sides in order for it to work (it scrolls even though the full pic is on the screen and then some) but it works if you stretch the browser out for huge margins.

Just tried it on the desktop's Win XP and Chrome and the same goes here. Works well, as long as there are huge margins on the sides between pic's edges and the browser edge.

Also, was happy I could access everything pretty well during Burning Man's weekend.

We found and fixed the problem with IE. This should be working in all browsers now. Please let me know details if you experience any problems.

If the arrow keys are not working for you, try going to http://beta.pbase.com/emily/image/25068275/small and pushing the left and right arrow keys. It should pop up a message at you when you push they keys. Let me know what the message says.

Press both arrow keys and got same messages both times -

"Detected Key Press"
OK

"document 1912 Window 1889
Ok

This is a nice feature. Do you have plans to do something similar for iPhones and iPads; where we could swipe to get to the next image?

I got "detected key press" on both arrows.
