I'm using Firefox, and making comments now has become a real challenge. If I use the arrow key to go back and change something, which I do automatically, I jump off the page. This happens literally every time I comment now and is really a pain. Was this anticipated when these "shortcuts" were devised?

We just made a change that should fix these problems for some of you. If things aren't working properly, let us know your operating system and browser (including version).

Doesn't work (still the same problem).
Vista 64bits, Chrome21.

I still can't edit comments. I use the arrow keys a lot while typing and I keep jumping out of the page. Tonight I lost a comment twice.

And I am using IE8 in W7

as a work-around until they sort it out, you can use Ctrl-RightArrow, Ctrl-LeftArrow to move back and forward by words.

What to work on :
Problem is still there but appears if "activate comment box via a link" is activated.

Works perfectly on IE8. Thank you so much. Using the mouse to do this was such a hassle. My renewal is coming up and you can on me for the 10th year now.

Emily, I'll add some more info here.

Continues to work well on Firefox if the margins around the image are large enough -- otherwise it scrolls.

But on Chrome 21.0.1180.83 with Windows XP, SP3, the right and left arrows don't work to take you to next or previous images.

We found a problem that was causing arrows to still navigate to other images if you were editing a comment that loaded with the comment link. This is fixed now. We are still investigating issues with certain browsers.

I use Windows 7 and my left and right arrows were working great until this morning, I really like the feature, hope you fix it soon!

It should be working again now. We will post when we have updates on the browsers that are still having issues.

Strangely enough it works on some galleries but in some it does not!
