Updates to Public Pages - Recent, Popular, Random, PaD

I just tried uploading another batch (3 hours after the 1st batch this morning) The photos post OK on my pages, seem to be visible in my pages but NOTHING I have uploaded today has shown in the "recent Uploads" ...

Excuse me now, while I walk up to the local watering hole and drown my troubles.....hopefully by the time I crawl home it will be fixed....

Today my PAD photos have not shown up in the PAD gallery either. YThough yesterday they would pop up in PAD as soon as I uploaded them
Also the last posted photo did not show up in Recent gallery, nor my personal Latest Uploaded Photos did not actualize.
I'm not alone with the problem as I can see, but I wonder how long it will last, hmmmm....

The "Recent Galleries" Page is not showing my uploads. For the last twelve uploads it shows a range from 23-Jul 15:07 to 23-Jul 17:05, so clearly it's missing most uploads.

Also my "Recent Galleries" page is no longer updating.

Please fix this problem.

I have also tried to upload an image recently and it is not showing up.

All said in the previous postings.But I'm still unsre if all this trouble is a result of a failed experiment or if is intended? Anyway, PBase has to bring this back to normal asap.

Not only does my first upload since 24 hours not show up in the recent uploads, but now it also doesn't show in my own recents anymore...

Frustrating is not the word, the knowledge that others are experiencing the same does not make me feel any better...

I thought the problem had been resolved since a few minutes ago some new uploads appeared on my favorites page and also on my own recents page. But once again, it's stuck on an older upload and won't display the image I uploaded 10 minutes ago.

Please get this fixed, Pbase!

Emily, the new version of Recent Uploads and PAD is the most frustrating thing that's happened to PBase since the meltdown in 2009. I just uploaded a photo, the first in 8 hours and it's not showing in Recent Uploads. To be kind, this kind of behavior is pathetic. I'd rather put up with the monopolizing and abuse the way it was than to have it like this. If you wanted to drive PBase's enthusiast members away, you've just found the way. I've endured all kinds of problems with this site over the years, but this is making my blood boil.

Merrywolf has just said it better than I can do. Sorry to say so, but I fear you've only got hours to fix this. Otherwise I'm afraid you would experience a massive exodus. "El momento de la Verdad".

I am sitting on two new galleries waiting for a return to common sense!
Why post them if no one is going to know I'm putting up new images.
Why should I have wait 10 or 12 days to post 10 or 12 images!
If you can't understand or react to this frustration you may well have found
the way to kill off PBase. What you've done is taken a shotgun to kill a damn ant

Lots of unseen issues on the admin end. Is "beta testing" something that is forgotten these days? I do appreciate the attempt at a solution to the pic whoring/monopolization but agree that there has to be a better solution. Glad I missed most of the weekend with this.

It wasn't even a problem. Why should we have looked to galleries where there is no new shot ?
I just want the suppression of this collective punishment named "filter". Pure and simple.
Also trying new sites. Now.

How many minutes must I wait before posting a new photo ?
How many hours maybe ?

Hello Everybody,

We are very sorry about the delay with recent uploads yesterday. The updating process got very backed up, and we were working hard to get it caught up and prevent it from getting backed up again. We are working on some changes to the limits on the recent uploads page that should make you happy. We just need to finish up some testing before it is ready to go live.
