Several hundred of my thumbnails are suddenly gone this morning. I tried regenerating one, but that did not work. Any suggestions what to do? Is it possible that waiting will work?

About half of mine are also missing.

My galleries are essentially non-functioning. Half the thumbnails are missing and it just sits there mock-loading indefinitely.

I really hope an administrator is around to fix it. This is worse than the usual slow-as-molasses.

Server error reported in another thread in the Q&A Forum, not much you can do except wait it out. The other thread indicates in may be clearing up.

The in house stats are notoriously inaccurate. My in-house count will show hundreds of "visits" while my Statcounter log shows it was an empty day. If you check the in-house stats against say a Statcounter report, you will see a noticeable difference between the two. There ought to be info on using Statcounter or a couple of other outside tracking services in the settings tab of you profile.

Pbase has been much higher than Statcounter.
I suspect that the interface between Pbase and Statcounter sometimes errors...
BTW Statcounter and Google Analytics show the same numbers...

Your stats don't work because there was a major breakdown at Pbase. The administration and support staff are still working to put everything back together.

They had to set priorities for the restoration. Statistics were not the foremost priority. They are still working to restore missing images. Give them time; it will all come back in due course.

Great to see the site working again and significantly faster!

One Suggestion:

It's about time that pBase subscribers will have a good backup interface, that will allow them to backup the the images, thumbnails and associated titles and captions. in other words enhance pBgrab or make an integrated download interface which will be part of pBase , same as you have the upload interface.
