PBase Magazine Issue 12 Released

Post Fri Jan 25, 2008 4:59 pm

Hi folks,
We've just released Issue 12 of the PBase Magazine.
Download it from http://www.pbase.com/magazine

It was due out on Jan-28, but I am going to be on travel, hence won't be able to launch it on monday. Since we have already delayed the deadline, better we beat the new deadline than push it back again :-)

So here goes! Richard Calmes is our PBase photog for the month along with other great contributions.

Note: The team is going to take a break after this issue - we plan to resume operation towards end of this year. Please read the editorial for the details.

As usual, enjoy and Happy New Year!

You've done it again, produced a fine pro caliber magazine! I really enjoyed reading all the articles, the interviews and the travel stories are especially brilliant! It is very interesting getting to know some of the fantastic Pbase photogs like James Pan, Guido Tramontano Guerritore and Richard Calmes.

Thanks to all of you for a fantastic job well done! Enjoy you well deserved break, but please come back with a new Pbase mag again, we could'nt live without it :D

Also, to ease the workload I would love to lend a helping hand with anything you need and I'm sure there are others like me who would help support keep the magazine going.

best regards,

Flemming Bo

Where's 13? Did we run out of luck and not get anymore mags?

I believe the magazine team stopped with the magazine, a pity. The magazine is (was...?) absolutely part of the 'pbase community.'
Hope it comes back.
And if not, maybe there are people (like me) to pick it up?

Well, officially we have 'paused' not 'stopped'. However, my other responsibilities are getting more time consuming by the day, so I am not sure if I can make it at all this year. If any of you are willing to share the load of putting the magazine together (editing/layout/contacting authors for articles/following up) that would be great.

I don't check forums very often these days, so if you need to get a response from me, please send me an email (see my profile) and NOT a PM.

Hi Arjun,

You would contact me past year...(spring) about making the next magazine (do you remember I made some sample material), can you reply to me as soon as possible.
Thanks, Michel
