Good service and dedication

Thank you for your good service and dedication. I think the PBase site runs remarkably well considering the size and volumn of activity. I hope you are able to find your problem. You deserve a little R&R after all this.

I never heard of a Terabyte, but I know you have always worked hard to keep us happy. Thanks to you and Emily for all you do.

Thank you Admin for the update and insight. Pbase subscribers: You will NOT lose your comments if you REPLACE the image on the edit page. That choice is at the BOTTOM of that EDIT page for that INDIVIDUAL image. You do NOT need to lose ANY comments. g

Wow. Just got here.

It was nice not only to get an update, but that was an EXCELLENT update.

Great detail. Thanks. And I hope the non-stop work will be over
soon.

I had felt it would take 2 days to a week and it looks like you'll be able
to fix this even faster.

mclew -- re your question -- don't regenerate anything as the system will
be repairing things after they do the analysis to make sure that huge
volume mentioned is no longer showing inconsistencies, and older stuff will
show up ok.

Slug says new uploads are working all right currently. In the old days
they'd have to take a system down to correct it but this is being done
Live, which is what they're paying for, but it's always nice to see that it
does work.

Thanks for the info, I just hope that you can recuperate all the information that has gone lost with the crash of those 3 disks without too many headaches. Thanks once more.

I'm sure this the terribly stressful for you. Thank you for all you do, and making sure pbase.com comes back in full.

Hang in there. It sounds like you've got good tech people working with you.

Thanks for the update and all the hard work. Pbase is definately the BEST photo hosting site, and the members and people that support it are the niceest people to talk to.

:D I am very confident and happy with PBase. Where less is to do, less failures pop up. where is much around, much failures can be. Its for the providers not funny, but i can be without it, even as it will be a week or so. I am very confident all will be well at the very end.
Lessons will be learned and precautions taken. And worldwide i cant find another so well performing and well-organized provider.

I warm and strongly support you ! :)

AFAIC take whatever time is required to do the job right. The important thing is to ensure integrity of the data; that is all that matters.
