a little disappointed since it is a pay site that there aren't any backups or anything!?
the majority of my images are not appearing... going on 3-days.

Excellent to see some updates!

Hope to see lots more on many of the things happening around here. :)

filesystem error....

You should look into trying ZFS so you don't have file system errors again. ;-)

BTW, thanks for the update and let us know the root cause.

As far as I'm concerned, with the communication during this issue you've already fixed the only significant problem I've ever had with Pbase! Thank you! Pbase rocks!

Thanks. Family & friends of ours had become concerned their own computers were at fault. Good to know you're on it. I appreciate the honesty. Have a wonderful holiday for you & yours. Richard Mann; USA

Thx for the info, slug. Knowing what's wrong and knowing that one is correcting it is far better than to be left in the dark!
Since you mention phone conversations lasting more than one hour, in my experience it really helps a lot to use a webex session or gotomeeting session where one can share screens, keyboards, mice. Perhaps an idea for you to share (and when necessary to transfer control) your screesn etc. with the guys of NetApp!

Congratulations on your transparent approach. Very professional.

I might suggest that this situation initiate a serious look at your disaster recovery plan. A good plan should enable an organization to "switch" to an alternate source in case of a disaster such as this.

My sympathies are with you and your friends and family who have probably not seen you in the last four days.
