New Feature: PM Reply to Comments

You can now reply to comments with a PBase mail by clicking the "PM reply" link when viewing the comment.
The comment and a link to the image/gallery it is on are included in the mail.
This makes it really easy to respond to questions that people leave on your photos.

Just a thought - if you reply to a comment, can you be returned to the comment page rather than the inbox?

I was thinking something similar when I tried this. Would it be possible to add comment, and PM it at the same time? This would be great if we could do everything from the photo page.

I can see the "PM reply" link on everyone's comments except the one on my site (
http://www.pbase.com/donrisi).
What am I doing wrong?

It was always a painstacking job to go to the persons profile and then to write a message.
Now i can do it from my page directly

Hey Don,
It looks like most of your comments are from guests. Since you can only send PBase mails to other PBase members, the link does not show by guest comments. If you take a look at
http://www.pbase.com/donrisi/rmnp there is a comment from a PBase member, and the link should appear. I hope this helps.

Oh no
I guess I am the only one who thinks the Pbase PM is a terrible mess and should not be promoted till it is rectified
1. Merge the forum PM and the profile PM
2. Provide an email notification when a PM is received (option)
Or have the above already been done ?

Also interested to find out if there are plans in the works to allow editing of comments
similar to most other blogs and photo sites.
I make often typing mistakes and right now there is no way to fix that.
