eric, yes, we plan on having a way to browse topics.
http://www.pbase.com/topics is intended to be some kind of directory of topics.
and also I hope to modify the search page to show relevant topics if we can find a good way to do this.

jonathan, we've discussed both a description, and allowing comments on a topic. so we'll keep this in mind as we make changes.

Thanks for the reply, when I try http://www.pbase.com/topics I see only my own publish topic if I'm logged in and only Emily's topics if I'm not logged in ?!?

Hi Eric,

Yes, that works. When I go to the link, I can see your "Paris" topic just fine. Until we have the topics meta page ready, http://www.pbase.com/topics is going to my topics. We did this just so people could see some sample topics without having to search around much. Hope this helps. Keep up the good work!

I thought topis would be a handy way to group artists that I was particularly interested in - i.e. not favorite artists, but one's I'm interested in for other reasons.

The option to add a root gallery to one of my Topics wasn't available on the root gallery page, but by going to a specific gallery and revealing that option and then going back to the root gallery, the option remained, and I was able to add the root gallery to one of my Topic lists.

However, although under 'Manage my topics' that topic now shows as having two entries, when I 'View my topics', it says "You have not yet selected any galleries for this topic."

I suspect I'm not supposed to be able to add root galleries to topics, but it would be really useful if it worked.

Can it be linked by photos itself, by this way, its allows us to show photos by topics more easily.

I agree on that one, it would be constructive to built topics from images rather than complete galleries.
