Congratulations on the comment system redesign. I took a quick look - it looks like the forum comments and guest book comments are still separate - as a logged out user if I visit my guestbook, I only see 12 comment while my forum has over 100 - I would love for my guests to peruse them without having to go through all my pictures. Is this planned ?

Login/Comments issue

Post Sun Apr 24, 2005 1:41 am

Hi there! I like the new comment system "style" but there are some serious glitches with the 'login' system. I am unable to leave a comment in someone's gallery and still stay logged in. As soon as I try to leave a comment or enter someone elses gallery, I am logged out instantly. Then I log back in, it sends me to my profile page, I try to go back to their image and comment and poof! Logged out again. I also find myself mysteriously logged out sometimes in the Forum and other galleries.

Is this being worked on or am I the only one experiencing this?

I really like PBase and think it's an awesome site otherwise!

Thanks!!

it would be awfully nice if we could click a button that says reply and the reply goes to the person who posted the question - otherwise, they have to revisit your image and find their comment to see if a reply was indeed provided

After I reply to an image that could have been posted today or last week, I need to remember to send the reply link directly to the user, thus I'm actually repying twice than once. It really is too much work to send a link about a reply to a comment, but I feel bad when I don't answer questions.

Can we do it? Yes we can!

Thanks a lot

I agree with them too!!!

Since now we have the comments inside the same page, if we refresh another comment is added to the list. Is there a way to avoid that?

I've been getting this message sine yesterday. Anyone out there knows about it:

"The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@pbase.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log."

Thanks

I echo this post. I like the new system just fine... but I would like to be able to access ALL comments.
