I too believe pbase is great and must be an astronomical task to maintain. Complaining in a nice way is something that must be done in order for pbase to make an effort to get things right. If no one complains how would they know that everything is not right in “You show me yours and I’ll show you mineâ€
I would rather have less storage , but more reliable service here !
Your power failures happen very often and response comes few days later.
Where you are based, in the jungles of Congo? For god sake this is USA,you can find electricity , tecnical support and servers in abundance.
Pbase is just fine here in NE USA now.
My cat also has his own pbase gallery, as do our dogs.
But I wont post here, as this is the news section.
Keep up the great work, Emily and Slug, and we all love you.

Was the DNS changed or are some of the image servers down, I as only beacuse I have notices that since the power failure, all of the images are being served by one machine i.pbase.com this might exlpain some of the slowness..
Just something I noticed, that I thought might help.
Slug, since your problems on Sunday I have been unable to upload any shots, even small files. After about half an hour I get a message, cannot find server. I know I should upgrade my modem, but I've never had this problem before.

New York here - 2nd full day of PBase running EXTREMELY slow. It takes up to several minutes for a page to load, if it loads at all. I'm using a cable modem and not having any problems with any other sites. Hope it gets fixed soon. In the meantime, I'm enjoying the naps I get in between page loads.
Well without stating the same "SLOW" comment as many other forumers, could we get an update to what is causing the problems days after the power failure? Seems like someone hacked pbase.
