Borderless printing

My new Canon i9950 (same as i9900 I think) is great except for one thing. I can't get borderless printing to work, paper size A4, Mac OS X, firewire or usb2. Has anyone succeeded or is it impossible? Rats.

I've got the i860, and there a tab in the print option panel for Page Setup (as I recall, I'm not on that machine right now). It prints borderless for 4x6 and 5x7. Maybe that's the problem with A4 borderless.
