In your humble opinion, what's the best?

My son just purchased a new Canon Digital Rebel camera along with a bunch of accessories. Now he wants a good quality printer.

Not awfully expensive, reasonable, but good quality.

Check out the Canon i960

I am the satisfied owner of the Canon i960.
It sports six color printing using individual ink tanks for each color.
The i960 has dual paper feed-large feed for various sizes to 8 1/2 X 14 as well as a tray for 4 X 6 borderless prints. A simple twist of a knob switches between the 4X6 and the large paper feed.
I am very happy with the print quality, quiet operation and the print speed. This is a reasonably priced printer and is well worth checking out! Canon customer support is great also.

Good Luck!

If you are interested, CompUsa is offering a $50 rebate on the Canon I960. It brings the price down to $119 which is a pretty good price.

Canon Yes, but...

I just got the Canon i9900. It prints up to 13X19 inches. It does a great job in an incredible time. I can get an 8X10 in about 1 minute. Now, granted it does take 8 inks and is a really large printer, it seems like one I will not soon outgro. I paid $414 at NewEgg.

Just my 2 cents worth,
