Print quality on Epson Stylus Photo ex

I have acquired an old Styus Photo EX for A3 printing, but the images have a repeating horizonal line at about 2mm spacings. The nozzle-cleaning test print has no actual blank spaces, but the lower of the staggered lines on the fith of the six blocks (light blue) prints out wrongly. View at:

Is this likely to be the cause of my unwanted horizontal lines, and can anyone tell me what can be done to overcome it?
Thanks,
Steve

Print head needs to be aligned. It's in the maintenance menu.

The best thing for you to do is buy a new Printer. The Styus Photo EX is very old and Epson has much better ink technology today.
