epson 2400 problems using Hahnemuhle

I'm ready to toss the printer out, give up printing altogether ok...

I have an epson 2400 and have been using the Hahnemuhle fine art paper photo rag 308gsm 11x17 and all I'm getting is problems using that size. I have used the letter size Hahnemuhle 308gsm and no problems but for some strange reason that particular size is not working out. I'm wondering if maybe I happened to get a bad batch of paper or it's the printer?
Any suggestions would be helpful.
Are there other brands of fine art paper that would work better than Hahnemuhle in this printer... ( not interested in using Epson papers )
thanks, joanne

Ilford Smooth Gloss works fine but Hahnemuhle is better I think.

I print with Hahnemuhle William Turner in an Epson 4000 and 3800 and get goo results. You say you are having problems. Could you describe the type of problems you are having? Hopefully someone can be of assistance.--Rene
