I am in the process of restoring my fathers old photo album. B&W printouts to my Epson R800 are plagued with blue / green color casts that I just cannot seem to get rid of. If anyone has any helpful advice on this problem it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Dave

These printers default to using all ink colors when printing which is why you see color casts in B+W images. When using all colors to reproduce a neutral, it's almost impossible to not get a color cast that can vary in different lighting. Try using the black ink only when doing B+W prints, or switching to the Epson 2400 that uses black, light black, and light light black to create B+W prints.
