Canon iP6700D can't delete job in cue

Post Sun Jul 29, 2012 1:20 am

Not sure if I can get help here on this problem but I was printing and decided not to continue with the print so deleted it while it was printing Stop/Reset button. It stopped. I had already set another job to print but the deleted job ahead stayed in the cue. When I tried to delete it from the cue I got the message that it couldn't delete it as it was already deleted.
I restarted my iMac, mountain lion still it was there. I unplugged the printer and still it showed.
I cannot print anything until this deleted/undeleted job is gone. Any ideas what I should do?
Thanks so much for any suggestions.

Apparently all you have to do to fix it is sit in the livingroom for a while and when you come back it is fixed.
I also heard I can go to System Preferences-Print and Scan and chose the printer involved and right click it and choose-Reset Printer System.
Then you have to add it again but that is supposed to work too.
Or you can go to Terminal and type in lprm -
I like my fix better.
