I prefer the second one, it contains everything to be great. No use of artificial idea as partially colored area. You can even improve it by using a saturation tool, depending on the sofware you use.

A touch of Curves in Photoshop would also make #2 a winner!

I think #2 looks better too. I think b&w with selective color only looks best when the majority of the image is in b&w.

I agree. The second one is way better.
It's a personal opinion but the selective B&W is such a Photoshop beginner cheap trick.
The photo is too nice to be tweaked this way.

Definitely the second. I would also crop from the top and start the image with a band of color. The very light area at the top is a distraction IMHO. Nice image.--Rene

I like the second one more as well,
the b/w vs. color in the same picture looks too artificial

My point of view is the same. The b/w area is too small, so I have to go for #2

Its a great shot, no need to mess with it. The second one is the way to go
