I guess none of those. Just a lack of respect for others cultures symbols. Usualy it's a cheap way to balance one's insecurity about rules and duties.

It's not a pretty sight indeed. But I assume everybody understands other people's feelings and actions that we can let this be. Anyway, we will deal with the consequences of our actions in the past someday. There's a passage in the Bible that goes along this line, "You reap what you sow."
