Need advice

My wife is helping a woman train to compete in a fitness competition. She's asked me to do a photo shoot. Photos help to self critique, especially the back shots. For lots of reasons I have to use the aerobics room at the gym. The lighting and background is less than optimal.

$$ is not available to purchase the right equipment right now so I was thinking of using a monochrome bedsheet and my shop light.
The color choices for the bedsheet are dark green, dark blue, or silver.
I am planning on putting white paper in front of the shop to help with the color.

Any thoughts?

Suggestions for other low cost solutions would be appreciated as well.

I'd suggest you forget the sheet......the subject will be lit and the background won't so it will appear quite dark....and the room you mention would look reasonable as a background anyway. Regards...Bob
