No easy way really. But often if you're out there leaving feedback with other members, they often pop back to your galleries and leave a note for you in response.

Good luck.

Thank you for your respond, and yes I guess there isn't any easy way.
Though I always leave comments for people I know and people I don't know as I like their works but its rarely they comment back, oh well I guess pbase is a dead zone for some of us.

I to have the same problem. I have over 20,000 visits, but only 51 comments. Thats only .255% of the visitors have left a message. I once thought people would look at my photos and critique, I've come to the realization that this isn't going to happen. Oh well.... Pbase is the best and cheapest site out there, for what I want to do anyway.

In my view the best compliment you can give me is to sit in silence and enjoy my photographs. If it's true that a picture can paint a thousand words, do we need any more? The words spoken about a good photograph seldom live up to the photograph itself.

I would not worry or concern yourself with it.

After taking a quick look at your portrait galleries my answer to your question would be 'WHY DO YOU GIVE A FLYING F***?!"
Your images are beautiful my friend, with work of such an outstanding quality you shouldn't care too much about casual visitors to your pbase galleries - if I were you I'd be more concerned with getting a portfolio together and showing it to as many potential clients as possible. Forgive me if I'm missing the point of your post but you've got talent and if you aren't already making a living off it then you better start soon!
Great work, lovely models - in fact GORGEOUS models, where the hell do you find them??

Keep it up

I would really appreciate it if anyone can tell me how to increase my gallery visitors. I have just few months left on my membership and it's quite upsetting that I do not have feedback from others, I do not find people to communicate with like others galleries such as flickr and ipernity, I love pbase and I don't want to neglect it because I cannot find people here to support me.

Any help with how to increase visitors will be appreciate it.

Don't worry about that. I don't have much visitors or comments either but I don't care... If I get comments it's nice but if I not then that is OK too.
If you try to do something to increase your visitors/comments you will only get short comments.
If you let peoples come to your site and write comments when they want you should get better comments (When I say better I mean comments what are more usefull for you).

Even though I do comment on the photographs of others...but increasingly less. I find that this is really true (what Sean said)...I often find words are very inadequate...and either make me look like a moron when I say "WOW" or a pompous snob when I try to analyze something to the Nth degree. So I've given up somewhat on the comments...well at least I've tried to but I still have a big mouth...:) The visual language loses much when translated.

Same here... I often visit galleries and am bowled over by the quality, the atmosphere etc.. of some of you out there but I do not always leave feedback (apart from voting) as weords seem often repetitive, inadequate and do you really want to add your name to the long list of "wows" below the stunning photo...Apart from that, it kills the moment.

I understand what you mean. I really like comments, but especially the hits, as it makes me proud that someone took time, for a moment, to view my art. It is terribly flattering.

Myself, I belong to web forums that also have a photography section, so when a gallery goes up, I make a post in that section. That is a sure fire way to get hits.

But like others said, your photography is excellent.

Are you just looking hits? Just wondering is it more important to get just visitor even if they come to your gallery just cos they see your ads or cos they wanted to see your photos (or they see your photos and came to see more).
And I didn't mean just you jayhawk1013 now...

If hits are a measure of success then at 250,000 hits from 500 photos in 18 months, Aysha would seem to be quite successful!

I want to thank everyone for their support!

Unfortunately I've been attacked with many crits and nasty comments on my own guestbook and private messages, that was really impolite, so I am not going to reply to you and please don't bother writing to me.

Again thank you everyone for your support and kind words.
