Cokin systems and polarizers

Post Fri Aug 17, 2007 6:31 pm

Is it possible to use a 72mm B&W Slim Circular Polarizer with the Cokin P system or the Z Pro? Or does one need to buy a Cokin polarizer to work with the system?

Do you mean mounting the cokin system to the filter thread, or inserting the b&w circ. polariser in the cokin filter holder?

I suppose there's no reason why you can't put Cokin system on the B&W polariser as long as there's a thread to put a Cokin adaptor on it. But it might be a pain to rotate the polariser with a filter holder attached to it. But if you are asking whether you are able to put B&W polariser in the Cokin filter holder or not, then I don't think you can.
