Also, it puts the important ISO information in a non-standard field,
for its point and shoots, and software like Photoshop will wipe even that out.
But if you're a PC user there's a way to get the ISO into the
standard field. (It's important for me to learn from at least.)

For flash info, I just use a good free utility like Irfanview
(
http://irfanview.com ) to see info like that and then add it to
the technotes for the pbase image where I used flash)
but the Canon software will see that info of course, though I don't use it.
I don't know why the software PBase is using doesn't pick up flash use
for these smaller cameras.
Irfanview sees the Canon non-standard field for ISO but that won't
help when processing the photo in Photoshop.
