Can you give me tips on how to avoid problems wth files being corrupted

I am not sure where you problem is occurring - in camera, card or computer. But, in case it is with your cards, here is a link to a PDF (requires Acrobat/Adobe Reader) that talks about care of your camera cards

I do daily backups of the files on my computer so that is how I recover from corrupt files, but I can't remember the last time I had one on my computer.
