PBase

I'm new to photo shop and generally just started using it when I got my mac. Is there a way to BATCH RESIZE??? And if not, is there a way I can make it happen??

I'm not sure and I use Elements which doesn't, but I suspect anyone offering help might ask what version you have.

It's been so long and I've added so many actions...but are "commands" a Photoshop default? If they are go to file/automate/batch/commands/image size. There's another way I use...I set up a small action that goes to File/automate/fit image ( set the fit image to the dimensions wanted) you can also add "file info" at the same time and add your copyright notice. The nice thing about this one is that it won't exceed the height or the width on horiz or verticals. It might 'save' using plain bicubic so you might have to write an ending to very slightly resharpen USM (like .02, 100,0) or roundabouts to your own taste if saving for the web or PBase. File > Automate > Batch and figure it from there. Good luck & hope this helps - g

dunno if this helps, but you can record an action (i have one to resize to 25%) and then run it in the Image Processor under 'File' - 'Scripts'.

I do some interior shoots for an architect and i use the action on the folder full of full size TIFF files to create a folder full of web - sized JPEGs. I can go and put the kettle on while it does it, then!

It seems a little finicky on my machine - sometimes i have to open the first image and run the action (then not save the file) and sometimes it just does it
