new gallery sorting options

hi.
thought i'd mention this here too since it will probably be useful for a lot of PaD galleries.
there are now some sequencing options on the gallery edit page to reorder images within a gallery. you can also set a gallery to have all new images appear at the beginning of a gallery instead of the end.

to make new images go to the beginning...
click the "sequencing" link on the edit gallery page
select "add new images to the beginning of the gallery" and Update Placement Settings

But be warned, I sorted by number of hits for curiosity but then couldn't restore to the original order. I'm talking a non-PAD gallery here.

But overall a superb feature.

clickaway: i mentioned your warning to emily who came up with the idea of being able to temporarily sort your gallery by hitcounts so you can view them that way without permanently altering the sequence.
so we'll probably by modifying the edit_gallery page so that the list of all the images will be sortable by clicking on the column headers.

then you'll be able to see them in hitcount order without actually changing the gallery.
