I've been PaD-ing for a couple of months. I've noticed that when I visit the Galleries and click on PaD, many of the images posted there turn out NOT to be from PaD galleries. Why is this? Am i misunderstanding something?

Probably just missing that fact that many people copy their PAD image into other galleries too. So if I took a photo of a flower for my PAD (which I wouldn't) then I'd also copy the image into my flowers gallery. Viewing the image seem to link you back tot he last gallery the image was copied to, not necessarily the PAD gallery.

You can also designate any gallery to be a PaD gallery, but don't have to actually call it that. I think the criteria is simply that you can only have one gallery on pbase used for photos of the day, but it can be named anything you like.

Some people just make their galleries appear on the PAD meta-gallery for the extra exposure. This is without the galleries really being even close to "photo a day" . Hope that helped!
