Maybe have a PAD with not theme or subject.
I think some don't want to do a daily PAD but wondering if subject threads here might get some more involvement. There used to be different threads, Birds, landscapes etc. of themes in the Show & Tell forum which is now almost only the contests.
So those subject threads are buried & anyone new looking at Show & Tell thinks it is only contests.

Maybe just start a thread in this forum of what you want to see...
I have been playing around with AI and enjoying that. I can start a thread and see if I get booted off or flamed since this is a PAD board.

I have been contemplating either starting again or deleting my account, torn between the two, I still remember back in December 2003 when Jeanne Hemhauser-Ricci who sadly is no longer on here, asked if I would join the then fledgling community of PAD people.
I think a lot of people stopped doing PAD as the gallery was being flooded by people not living up to the true purpose of the Chanel and just using it to boost views of their own works, that and people are just busy now, less time to shoot daily or just do it but don't really post much.

I maintained a PaD from 1/1/2008 to 12/31/2022 without missing a day. I stopped because viewership had declined by over 90%.

Of the 1,052 contacts I have on PBase, fewer than fifty are active and only two people I know are doing PaD Galleries.

I currently receive less than 10% of the traffic and comments I received fifteen years ago.

I was the co-moderator of the Weekly Challenge from 2010-2014. We stopped the challenge in 2014 because of a lack of interest.

So, the problem is that the vast majority of subscribers have left PBase.

The Weekly Show & Tell Competition is still alive in the Show & Tell Forum with about 10-12 submissions per week.

Otherwise, it's very quiet here...
