Now indoors. We had a hard freeze last night with a low of 21° (-6 Celsius).

Sadly, everything, that had to be left out on the deck or in the yard, froze to death last night. What a sudden change and such a bleak sight. We certainly haven't had a "normal" Fall. My main outdoors "Fall Color" this year has been warm weather plants... Except for rare, isolated spots, I've found that the natural October landscape so far has - more or less - gone from green to brown.

My last hibiscus photo for the Colorful October series. Although my hibiscuses continue to bloom indoors, two nights of temperatures of 21 degrees outside tell me that it is now time to look at other aspects of this October. The outdoors flower season here is done. Even the neighbors' mums are now dead & dried out brown.
