I’ve decided to do an April Gallery of imagined
Landscapes highlighting a “natural world” of my imagination.

Hope this is alright.

Snow cap

A (wo)man should hear a little music, read a little poetry, and see a fine picture every day of his/her life, in order that worldly cares may not obliterate the sense of the beautiful. (free to J.W. von Goethe)

End of March landscape.

Still fairly barren from Winter, this scene should change during the next few weeks. However, there is already the slightest hint of fattening buds just starting on some of the trees.

The trees in the distance are wild, native plants that mankind had absolutely no hand in their existence. The other trees were hybridized & planted by humans; however, their growth is the work of Nature. The ground cover is a mix of human hybridized & planted grass; along with native wild grasses & other plants; ie, weeds (of which mankind had no hand in their existence). Nature makes everything grow or not grow.

The weather and seasonal change is all Nature.

Unless you are in a remote, untouched, totally wild environment, mankind touches a lot of Nature. Or viewed another way, Nature touches mankind. It is often hard to totally separate the two.
