Pattern

A (wo)man should hear a little music, read a little poetry, and see a fine picture every day of his/her life, in order that worldly cares may not obliterate the sense of the beautiful. (free to J.W. von Goethe)

My birthday on January 16 and still the flowers keep coming. After a year of memories quite different to any we have seen globally.
Today marks 1 year since the first COVID 19 case was diagnosed in Australia and it also marks day 7 of zero cases in the entire country.

January 25: Stormy

Brief clearing between storms. Winds are 25-30mph with gusts to 40mph.
I went walking six miles just after this photo was taken and got pelted by hail and soaked by rain.

January 26: Agave Attenuata, aka Fox Tail Agave or Century Plant

They only bloom once in their lives then they die. This is after about 10 to 20 years of growth.
This one is about 8ft tall and at least 10ft long.
