June 2013 Challenge: Movie / Film Titles

Post Fri May 31, 2013 10:04 pm

The challenge for June is to post images relating to Movie / Film Titles. You may want to do specific genre of movies such action, suspense, comedy or horror, or even Kung Fu. just any film. There is a lot to choose from so this should be fun.

If you want to choose from the 1,000 Best Films ever made, here is a list from the New York Times: http://www.nytimes.com/ref/movies/1000best.html

The usual rules apply, fresh photos only, stay on topic  , comment on others, etc.

Have fun,

Walter

My take on the movie "The color purple"

Mieke
A (wo)man should hear a little music, read a little poetry, and see a fine picture every day of his/her life, in order that worldly cares may not obliterate the sense of the beautiful. (free to J.W. von Goethe)

My first movie title - I saw this machine at the beach today - and found out it is called a FlyBoard Jetpack... So I went searching for a title for it

Great idea.
Today I was watching the Queen Elisabeth Competiton. The Queen Elisabeth Music Competition has been, since its foundation, considered over the world to be one of the most prestigious and most difficult. It is devoted to violin (since 1937), piano (since 1938), to composition (since 1953) and to singing (since 1988). Held in Brussels, the Competition is named after Queen Elisabeth of Belgium. This year the competition is devoted to the piano. And I immediately knew it: The Pianist.

A great idea for a challenge too ( explanation on the gallery as to why I chose this for MATRIX )

Movie # 2

Lola (1981)

Part of Rainer Werner Fassbinder's The Entire History of the German Federal Republic trilogy, Lola stars Barbara Sukowa in the title role, a seductive cabaret singer and dancer in the 1950s who is romantically involved with Von Bohm (Armin Mueller-Stahl), a straight-as-an-arrow building inspector.

....and my humble adaption to it! :D

Two movies in one: The Marathon (1919) and De Marathon (2012)

Some of you asked how I added the youtube link.
This is it:
Search for the youtube film you want to include.
Go to "share" ... "include"; copy the code (use the old code)
replace "&amp" by "&autoplay=1"

Include the code in the caption

Good luck
