Weekly Challenge: "IWeekend"

We all look forward to Fridays, not only for the Weekly Challenge, but also for some relaxation and doing the things we like to do, and also things we don't necessarily like to do, such as errands or chores. Show us what you do on the weekend, where you like to go to have fun, relax, eat, play, etc. The more creative the better. Have a great weekend everyone! :D

A few simple rules:

1. Themes are posted on Fridays to give you the weekend to come up with a FRESH shot for the challenge to post through Monday.

2. This is about interaction, learning, being challenged and having fun so... HAVE FUN!

3. The themes are specific but interpretations are broad. Stay on theme but PLEASE feel free to think outside the box.

4. Look at others' submissions, comment as moved to do so and offer supportive and constructive feedback. Please don't just post for exposure. Look and at least comment on some.

5. Did we already mention: HAVE FUN!!!

I combine errands with a drive through the mountains by taking the back road to town which adds 20 miles but takes me out into the country.

I enjoy walking along the shore in La Jolla early in the morning before it gets busy. No Pelicans in sight this morning, but the sky was beautiful and I got a healthy dose of sea air and came home hungry.

In my part of the country... Ontario canada this is gardening weekend... If you are going to
have a garden it should be planted by this weekend.

Gosh it has been almost a year to the weekend since I have done a challenge.
I went to a baseball game this weekend. It sure is more exciting in person! These young men did very well considering the team was
put together just for this weekend.

Been a long time since I participated...had a couple of eye surgeries (cataracts) in March and April. Can see clearly now and migraines less frequent!
Being Memorial Day I stopped by the Iraq/Afghanistan War Memorial, Crosses of Lafayette and snapped some shots and did a little gallery.
Thanks to all those who have served and try to keep the world a safer place but I believe war is not the way to attain peace.
